An original, hand-painted animation cel from Dianne Jackson and Jimmy T. Murakami's Academy Award®-nominated Christmas fantasy The Snowman. Rendered in gouache on celluloid, the cel features a poignant moment, when the Snowman hugged the main character James. The drawing is labelled with production sequence numbers "12/8" and "43", and a protective tissue-paper sheet has been placed behind the acetate cel. The colours on the lot remain vibrant, and the cel shows very slight signs of handling at the edges. Dimensions: 27 cm x 33 cm (10 1/2" x 13")
