A Benjamin Button (Brad Pitt) reference bust and five head molds made for David Fincher's 2008 period drama The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Set between 1918 and 2013, the film tells the tale of Benjamin Button, a man who mysteriously ages backward. Lifecasts were taken of the films actors so that their heads could be recreated for the film's make-up department. The biscuit foam reference bust resembles Benjamin's adult face with some wrinkles, and has been painted bronze in color. Also included are five molds from the production, each of which produces reference head castings for different stages of the aging make-up. The make-up was based on a lifecast of Brad Pitt, with the various stages sculpted by hand. Each of the molds feature an outer shell made of fiberglass, with a silicone mold inside. The shells comes in two halves that have been bolted together. The lot shows some wear due to production use, with small chips to the paint on the lifecast, and breaks to the fiberglass casing on the molds, however the set remains in overall good used condition. Bust dimensions: 20" x 17" x9" (50 cm x 43 cm x 23 cm); mold dimensions (each): 25.5" x 15" x 20" (61 cm x 48 cm x 36 cm)
