A ‘Killer Bee’ remote controller from the production of Jeremiah Chechik’s 1998 retro revival of The Avengers.

John Steed (Ralph Fiennes) and Dr. Emma Peel (Uma Thurman) team up to try and stop a plot by the evil Sir August De Wynter (Sean Connery) to change the Earth's weather and hold the planet to ransom.

This remote controller was made for the production to be used by Bailey (Eddie Izzard) to control flying, mechanical killer bees to attack Steed and Peel. It features a controller on each side to control the movement of the bees and in the film they move the red illuminated pieces in the centre. There are two antennas at the top and a red button and pair of switches above each controller stick.

There is some wear from production use and age. One of the red LEDs is missing from the central panel and there is some scuffing and scratching all over. Overall it remains in a very good, production-used condition.
