A life-size flying Superman (Christopher Reeve) from Richard Lester's superhero sequel Superman II. This figure was created for the Niagara Falls sequence, where Superman flew into the falls to catch a falling child.

This foam figure features detailed painting including Superman's iconic costume, forelock, and Reeve's blue eyes. Attached to the back is a replica red cape, added for display, with holes where a hook protrudes for displayed hanging. The foam exhibits stiffening and cracking throughout, a hole in the centre of the belt and in each knee, and fraying and staining to the cape. This figure has undergone extensive restoration, nose and finger replacement, and full repainting of the entire piece. Dimensions: 254 cm x 43.25 cm x 28 cm (100" x 17" x 11")
