A set of two original design sketches from Richard Donner’s 1978 superhero film Superman.

The pages show the design for the rig designed for the scenes when Non (Jack O'Halloran) crashes in and out of the office. These two design pages were drawn in pencil by Paul Weston and were instrumental in creating the memorable stunt scenes in the film. The other two pages are production-made copies of the design.

This set comes from the personal collection of Paul Weston, a stunt man and stunt coordinator in the first two Superman films, as well as many other classic movies. Weston was instrumental in designing and creating some of the revolutionary techniques and rigs for the legendary flying and acrobatic scenes for these Superman films.

The designs have some wear from production use and age, most notably a stain along one edge of one page, but overall remain in very good condition.
