A pair of newspapers from Richard Donner's superhero film Superman. After Superman's (Christopher Reeve) debut, various news sources published stories about the mysterious hero. In a deleted scene, visible in production contact sheets (not included) , Lois Lane (Margot Kidder) doodled on a newspaper with a large photo of Superman on it, as she wondered about his secret identity.

This lot consists of two newspapers, both printed in black-and-white on newsprint. One is a Daily News paper with the headline "Look Ma - No Wires!" and an image of Superman flying; the other one features the headline "Inside Story of Superman" with large close-up photographs of Superman. They exhibit discolouration, corner creasing, and mild tears. Dimensions (each): 59.75 cm x 45.75 cm (23.5" x 18")
