Gorilla and chimp face masks from Tim Burton's sci-fi remake Planet of the Apes. This lot contains four chimp and four gorilla masks. Each mask is made of slip latex, features hand-punched hair throughout, and has Velcro straps for use by a background actor. The chimp masks are finished with paint detail to match the skin tone of the apes in the film. The items are presented on wooden stands with production tags noting assigned actors. The masks have dried over time, cracking the paint on the nose of some masks, leaving the lot in overall good condition. Dimensions (each): 6” x 7” x 12” (15.25 cm x 17.75 cm x 30.5 cm)
