An unfinished hero version of the Chalice of Life, made for the production of the Disney spin-off Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Having survived Davey Jones’ Locker and a host of curses, Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) goes to sea once more, caught between nemesis Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) and the legendary Blackbeard (Ian McShane) in a search for the Fountain of Youth.
One of the key plot points in the film, this chalice was one of a pair that had the power to grant eternal life to the person who drank from it at the Fountain of Youth. This particular example is an unfinished hero version.

Made predominantly of white metal finished to look like polished silver with plastic panels, this beautifully hand-crafted chalice has beading and jewels attached with wire across the body and at its foot. The words "De Vida" are etched into a panel on the front of the chalice. Offered in an unfinished state, the piece remains in very good production-used condition.
