A stunt rig with leather armour from the production of Bryan Singer’s 2013 fantasy adventure Jack the Giant Slayer.
Although ultimately unseen in the final cut, this fibreglass rig was made for the production to give the impression an actor was floating, flying or falling. The actor would have been placed in the rig and suspended using wires. It has a piece of leather armour attached to the front, with Velcro® where other pieces of costume would be attached. It has metal bars for strengthening and where it would have been suspended.
The rig has some wear from production use and age, including scuffing and scratches, but overall remains in a good condition.
Materials: Fibreglass, Leather, Ferrous Metals, Man-Made Woven Fibres.
