A leather and metal shield from Bryan Singer’s 2013 adventure fantasy Jack the Giant Slayer.

Soldiers carried their shield when patrolling around the bottom of the beanstalk and when defending the castle. The shield is made predominantly of layers of medium density fibreboard, covered in black leather and decorated with a metal trim. The shield features three leather straps on the reverse so it can be held.

The shield has some wear from production use, including scuffing, scratches and dried mud, most notably on the back. The sides of the shield have become exposed, and the layers of MDF have become warped and started to separate. Overall, the shield remains in a fair, production-used condition.
