A Hoplite Officer's complete costume from the 2011 action fantasy movie Immortals. This was worn by one of the high ranking Hoplite Officers seen at various points throughout the movie defending against King Hyperion's (Mickey Rourke) Heraklion army.
The collection consists of a set of solid leather armour (marked Eduardo Casillion, size 42) painted silver with intestinal design on the stomach, leather cingulum, wide shoulder guards and all fastened together with brown leather thong with a heavy flowing blue cape, a spectacular battle helmet (marked “M-A Brisbois” - Utility Stunt Performer) made from durably vinyl with hinged faceplate, bright blue plume and 'eyes' painted onto the front, matching greaves and gauntlets, a deep burgundy synthetic tunic with puffed arms and skirts (marked “Denis Lafond” - Utility Stunt Performer) and a pair of leather sandals marked “Steve”. The entire ensemble has been given a light level of distress by the production with splatter and black paint on the cloak, armour and tunic but is in otherwise great condition.
