"To those whom much is given, much is taken away."
A complete Hoplite soldier costume and helmet from Tarsem Singh's 2011 action fantasy Immortals.
Suffering from the loss of his family, King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) decides to spite the Gods by releasing their arch enemies, the Titans, from Mount Tartarus and wreaking havoc upon the world. Can the demigod Theseus (Henry Cavill), son of Zeus (Luke Evans), prevent the unleashing of the Titans and save the world?
The collection consists of a set of solid leather armour painted silver with muscular design on the stomach, leather cingulum, wide shoulder guards and all fastened together with a brown leather thong with a heavy flowing blue cape. The battle helmet is made from durably vinyl given and a rough texture with a hinged faceplate. 'Eyes' are painted onto the front along with a pointed crest and neck protector.
The costume is completed with a pair of matching greaves, a dark burgundy cotton tunic and a pair of brown leather strap sandals (approx. size 10). The entire ensemble has been given a light level of distress by the production. Splatter marks and black paint cover the cloak, armour and tunic but is in otherwise great condition.
Materials: Leather, Rubber, Man-Made Woven Fibres, Plastic.
