Our expert's notes
A police gun, magazines and holster from Alex Proyas’ 2004 sci-fi mystery I, Robot.
The gun, made from resin and painted black to look like metal, is the same futuristic model Del Spooner (Will Smith) used throughout the film. The faux leather holster features an additional pocket that holds two ammunition magazines made from wood and painted black. A label on the underside of one of the holster’s straps reads “Ian Bliss”, who was most likely an extra uncredited for playing a police officer in the film. Although not obviously seen on screen, guns and holsters like this were worn by police officers throughout the film.
The holster shows signs of wear from production use, age and storage. Overall, the lot is in very good condition.
Materials: Resin, Faux Leather, Wood, Metal.
