Barry Speck’s (Steve Carell) magnifier visor from Jay Roach’s 2010 idiot buddy comedy, Dinner for Schmucks. In the film, a chance meeting between rising executive Tim (Paul Rudd) and mouse taxidermist Barry (Steve Carell) gives Tim the perfect guest to exploit at his boss’s annual gathering of depraved idiots.

This visor is used in the scene where Barry decides to try to save his friendship and make a “mousterpiece” display of Tim and his girlfriend getting married. The visor is custom made from black plastic with an adjustable head strap. Three different magnifying lenses are attached to give the wearer the closest look. Additionally, the visor features four lights, two outside and two inside, which have been tested for function with AAA batteries. The visor measures 9”x10”.
