Miniature filming paper slates from the production of Steven Spielberg’s 1977 science fiction film Close Encounters Of The Third Kind.

A pair of paper slates used during production, one of these has a white background, the other one has a black background and the three primary colours along the bottom. These slates both have boxes (left blank) to identify the production number, camera operator, date, sequence, description, scene, take, remarks, emulsion, camera, F.stop, shutter and filter. They have the Paramount® logo in the top right hand corner and are in excellent condition.
