Original production-used storyboard set from Steven Spielberg’s 1977 sci-fi film Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

This storyboard set consists of 18 pages printed landscape on white paper and features three hole-punches along the top edge where they had once been kept together in a folder in sequence with other storyboard pages. The pages display black and white drawings, short written descriptions and annotations illustrating the scene in which UFO’s surround Jillian Guiler’s (Melinda Dillon) house and her son Barry is taken.

The storyboard set exhibits minor edge wear and small tears in a few of the hole punches from production use but overall remains in very good condition.
