"I don't want to be a pie! I don't like gravy"

A large fertilizer sack used in the production of the Aardman animation classic Chicken Run.

Fearing for their lives when their farming owners buy a pie-making machine, the hens of a failing chicken farm plan their escape, led by de facto leader Ginger (Julia Sawalha) and American rooster Rocky (Mel Gibson).

Piles of sacks were seen throughout the film on the Tweedy's Farm. Made from brown cotton canvas, the sack features faded black printed text reading "British Fertiliser" and has been filled with sand to add weight. Well-used on the production, the sacks display use of on-set wear, including hot glue residue where it was secured during use. Some of the sand has begun to leak from the interior of the piece. However, in spite of this wear, the sack remains in overall good production-used condition.
