This lot will be sold on Tuesday, 1st December (day 1 of the auction.) Lots 1-463 will be sold on day 1 (lots 464-913 will be sold on day 2). The auction will begin at 2:00 pm GMT. A set of hand-drawn costume sketches for Alexander (Colin Farrell), printed character concept designs, and 11 gold coins from the production of Oliver Stone's historical epic Alexander.

The hand-drawn Alexander sketches are rendered in pencil and feature a full sketch and two smaller sketches of his back and head. "Jenny discuss" is handwritten in the top-left corner, referring to two-time Oscar®-winner Jenny Beavan, who designed the costumes for the film. Four pages feature printed concept designs for King Philip II (Val Kilmer), Cleitus (Gary Stretch), Alexander and Alexander's helmet. Two feature handwritten notes from Oliver Stone, labelled "OS".

The 11 golden coins are made of plaster in varying shapes and sizes, with a gold-coloured paint finish and raised human faces and animal motifs. The designs have some wear from production use and age. They have creasing, edge wear and tape stuck to some of the edges, and the Alexander print has a tear from the top edge. The coins have scuffing to the paint and very minor chips. Dimensions (largest design): 42 cm x 29.5 cm (16 1/2" x 11 1/2"); (largest coin): 6 cm x 5 cm x 0.5 cm (2 1/4" x 2" x 1/4")
