A Spartan soldier's uniform with a shield and spear from Zack Snyder's historical action epic 300. King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) of Sparta led his army against the invading forces of King Xerxes of Persia (Rodrigo Santoro).

This lot consists of a bronze-color fiberglass helmet with brown leather cheek pads marked for stunt performer Ryan Watson; matching urethane gauntlets and greaves, both marked for stunt performer Rich Cetrone; a red burlap cape with leather embellishments marked for Marc Trottier and Jean-Francois Berube; a brown leather codpiece marked "T. Connely [sic];" a plastic and fiberglass shield with nylon straps and a leather-wrapped handle; and a leather-wrapped wooden spear with a urethane head and resin base painted gray. Also included are three Certificates of Authenticity from Warner Brothers. The costume components were intentionally distressed by production to distinguish their use earlier in the Battle of Thermopylae. The lot exhibits loose components, and scuffed paint.
