This lot will be auctioned on Friday, November 4th. A set of two animation cels from George Dunning's 1968 animated Beatles film Yellow Submarine. One image features Jeremy Hilary Boob, Ph.D., who the Beatles encountered in the Sea of Nothing. The second shows George running away during the song "Nowhere Man".

The cels are hand-painted in vibrant coloured gouache, with production annotations reading "NWMA, SC.21B, B 19 1/2'' and "NWMA, SC.5, G29'' along the bottom. A visible fold line is present near the bottom of the "Nowhere Man" cel. Dimensions (each sheet): 31.5 cm x 40.5 cm (12 1/2" x 16")
