A rare poster issued by Capitol Records to promote the soundtrack to George Dunning's 1968 animated film and the Beatles' tenth studio album Yellow Submarine. This poster was printed in 1968 by King Features Syndicate Subafilm, and two different versions were created. The more common folded version was available in Billboard magazine, and the scarcer version - offered in this lot - was rolled.

The design shows the distinctive titular submarine containing the Fab Four set against a light blue background. Black-and-white illustrations of the Beatles looking out of portholes adorn the back, without additional printing (seen on the standard folded version). There is evidence of small areas of paper loss, minor marks and creasing. Dimensions: 51 cm x 95 cm (20" x 37 1/2")
