Mystique's picture double body appliances from from the production of the Bryan Singer's X-Men origin story X-Men: First Class. Charting the coming together of Professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Erik Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender), also known as Magneto, the film goes from wartime Auschwitz to 1960s Cuba, with Magneto, Xavier and a young group of mutants banding together to fight the nefarious Sebastian Shaw (Kevin Bacon).
The collection of body appliances consist of a forehead, cheek pieces, breast appliances, thigh and leg pieces, shoulder and arm pieces, a back piece and a crotch piece. All appliances rest on thin plastic sheets that are labelled "picture double" as well as handwritten labels with each assigned body part. The appliances are made of silicone and are finished in Mystique's unique blue skin tone. Each appliance also features dark spines rising up, giving the skin texture a thorny, abrasive appearance, with scales at the edge of each piece. The forehead piece also features bright red hand-punched hair along the scalp.
The set shows minimal signs of wear such as frayed edges and residual adhesive made from production, but the set remains in excellent overall condition.
