A special effects arm sleeve from the production of Jonathan Liebesman’s 2012 fantasy adventure sequel, Wrath of the Titans.
Living as a fisherman with his son after the death of his wife, Perseus (Sam Worthington), son of Zeus (Liam Neeson), is called to action once again as the ancient Titan, Kronos, threatens the life of the gods as well as those of the men on Earth.
This sleeve was worn by the king of the gods as he is imprisoned within Tartarus, his own power feeding the Titan Kronos. Chained to the rocks within the volcano prison, Zeus' arms soon blacken and burn as molten magma works its way down the chains to encase his arms in lava. This sleeve and others like it were used to transform Zeus from the once-powerful god to a lowly creature sapped of his power.
Made of foam latex, the arm sleeve features cracked, blackened skin coated in production dust. There are large fissures forming in the skin, revealing red flesh beneath. Other details such as wrinkles and skin creases are also present. The sleeve runs from the shoulder down to the hand, with intricately sculpted detail throughout.
The arm has some very minor wear and damage to the foam latex from age and use – mainly internal – but it remains in good production-used condition.
Materials: Foam Latex.
