A test Makhai head and damaged helmet from the production of Jonathan Liebesman’s 2012 action fantasy sequel Wrath of the Titans.

The Makhai were the enormous multi-armed, two-headed monsters commanded by the volcanic titan, Kronos. Heads were made for the production to be used as stand-ins; these were then overlayed with special effects for the final cut of the film. The head is unpainted foam rubber, it features the grimacing face of a Makhai warrior. The helmet is made from resin painted brown and bronze, it features weathering, however, shows signs of damage and repair around the more fragile areas. Both the head and helmet show minor signs of further wear, they remain in an otherwise good condition.
