Two children’s books used in the production of Tom Harper’s 2015 horror-drama, The Woman In Black 2: Angel Of Death. The sequel takes place forty years on from the original haunting at Eel Marsh House. A group of children are evacuated from World War II London and ultimately awaken the house's dark, ghostly inhabitant.
These books and others like them would have been used in the opening sequence of the film as set dressing for the tube station air-raid shelter. The set consists of two books, ‘Enid Blyton’s Sunny Stories’ and ‘Milly and Sally Fairy Tales, Stories, Poems and Lots More’. The Enid Blyton book is paperback and with stories and black and white illustrations, the front cover features a sailor and a bear in a flooding house, whereas the back cover features an advertisement to buy ‘Sunny Stories’ every Friday for 2p. The Milly and Sally book is a paper cover featuring two girls in dresses, bound around a book of plain paper. Distressed for use in production, the books remain in excellent production-used condition and each measure 18.5cm x 13.5cm x 0.5cm (7.25” x 5.5” x 0.25”).

These props are original assets used in the production of the 2015 film The Woman In Black 2: Angel Of Death. The asset is made available through a partnership between Prop Store and Exclusive Media. This is not a replica, but rather an original piece from the making of the film.
