Gwen Conliffe's Stunt dress from Joe Johnston's horror film The Wolfman. At the end of the film, Gwen (Emily Blunt) is chased in a gorge and trapped by the Wolfman (Benicio del Toro). Here, Gwen shoots The Wolfman reverting him back to his human form and he then dies in her arms.
This dress is produced by bespoke costume maker Jane Law based in England. A top and bottom piece comprise this late 1800s style dress. Made from a synthetic purple material, the bottom has four layers. The top is made from the same purple synthetic material, buttons in the front, and has rigid inserts to maintain its shape while being worn. Both pieces feature holes and dirt intentionally added by production to give the outfit a worn look. Each piece is labeled 'Stunt' on its tag.
The dress shows intentional wear from production and remains in overall excellent condition.
