Hand-illustrated and printed camp and stairway matte painting concept artworks from the production of Ron Howard's fantasy film Willow. Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) created concept art in planning out matte paintings of the film's fantasy settings. One illustration board-mounted, printed photograph of a person crouching has a transparent cel taped over it featuring hand-illustrated additions including tents and a cloudy sky is marked "MP15A." Another hand-painted illustration board depicts figures on a dark stairway. The latter exhibits stray paint marks, stains, unfinished illustrations, and penciled numbers. Dimensions: (largest) 8.25" x 11"(21 cm x 28 cm); (smallest) 5.5" x 8.75" (14 cm x 22.25 cm)
