A Roger Rabbit paint test head from the classic movie that combined live action with animation, Who Framed Roger Rabbit. This piece was used by the production to decide exactly which colours to use when creating the memorable Toon, and although unconfirmed is though to have been used as a lighting stand-in during filming to get an idea of the levels needed for each shot. Featuring his giant eyes and cheesy grin, the head is made from yellow foam that’s painted white with whiskers, big red nose, single buck tooth, raised eyebrows and baby blue eyes. Written on the back of the head is “480 Becky” and “Mix 2-4-1” next to white, blue and dark blue paint samples that were used on this particular head. Due to its age the painted sections have begun to crack around the nose and cheeks, but it is in otherwise fantastic condition. The head comes on a custom made stand that supports it on a thin metal rod on a metallic blue base which features the sweeping movie logo in full colour. This is a great chance to own an instantly recognisable piece of the wacky animated character. On the stand it measures 35cm (13.5”) tall.
