This lot will be sold on Wednesday 2nd December (day 2 of the auction.) Lots 464-913 will be sold on day 2 (lots 1-463 will be sold on day 1). The auction will begin at 2:00 pm GMT. A pair of hand-drawn Robin Richesson ferry-crossing pencil storyboards from the production of Steven Spielberg's sci-fi thriller War of the Worlds. These early storyboards depict the scene in which Ray's (Tom Cruise) family escaped on a ferry.

These storyboards display handwritten descriptions and are rendered on paper by costume illustrator Robin Richesson, stamped "Designed by Joanna Johnston", labelled "Concept of Ray + Rachel WOW Joanna Johnston with Robin Richesson 2004 Ferry Sequence", and marked "Part 1" and "Part 2", respectively. They show some minor signs of production use. Also included is a letter of authenticity from a senior crew member. Dimensions (each): 28 cm x 21 cm (11" x 8 1/4")
