Two clapperboards from the productions of Stephen Sommers' fantasy adventure film Van Helsing and Carl Rinsch's fantasy action film 47 Ronin.
Both clapperboards comprise an acrylic slate with a wooden clapperstick. The Van Helsing clapperboard features several fields for information, including roll, scene, date and take. The movie title is incorporated into a lightning-themed banner above the second unit director, "Greg Michael", camera, "Josh Bleibtreu", and "2nd Unit" in red. Unused during production, the slate has some ink residue from where fields were filled in for aesthetic purposes.
The small 47 Ronin clapperboard features the film title printed into the slate with the Director "Carl Rinsch" and Director of Photography "John Mathieson" situated below. Red text reading "A Cam" is present in the bottom right corner. The lot exhibits some minor marks and scuffing. Dimensions (largest): 3 cm x 28 cm x 24 cm (1.25" x 11" x 9.5")
