A “V” mask used in the dystopian comic book thriller V for Vendetta. In a dystopian future where Britain has come under the thumb of an oppressive government, underground revolutionary V (Hugo Weaving) rescues young media worker Evey (Natalie Portman) before teaching her why the state must be brought down.
This mask and others like it were used in the scenes towards the end of the movie when we see the uprising of the public against the government; the mass of people who crowd in the streets to see the fireworks light up the London sky are all wearing these masks. Styled in the likeness of Guy Fawkes with a cheerful yet sinister paint finish, the mask has foam pads on the forehead and under the eyes for comfort whilst being worn.

In very good production-used condition with only minor wear from use on set and time spent in storage, the mask is presented in a beautiful opening framed display, featuring stills from the film, the film’s logo, an item description and a hinged front allowing direct access to the piece.
