Casey Beldon (Odette Yustman) was abandoned by her mother as a young child and has never quite forgiven her, but when bizarre events begin to happen, Casey begins to understand why her mother may have left. Beset by nightmares and the ghost of a small boy that haunts her waking hours, she turns to Rabbi Sendak (Gary Oldman), who is her only hope for ridding her of what appears to be her family's curse. With the help of the Rabbi, her friend Romy (Meagan Good) and boyfriend Mark (Cam Gigandet), Casey discovers the curse dates back to Nazi Germany and an invoked fiendish spirit who can possess anyone or anythingâ€¦With the curse becoming reality, her only chance of survival is to stop the spirit entering our world, but that means stopping someone who has never been bornâ€¦
This special effects air blowing rig was used for the scene where Casey Beldon (Odette Yustman) hallucinates in the bathroom and is horrified. One of her hallucinations includes hands and small tentacles like these coming out of the wall and thrashing towards her. The rig consists of a metal pipe with a valve to be connected to a compressed air supply, and features many small rubber tubes that flapped about once under pressure. Includes an additional piece of rubber dressing used on the same set. In excellent condition.
