This lot will be sold on Wednesday 2nd December (day 2 of the auction.) Lots 464-913 will be sold on day 2 (lots 1-463 will be sold on day 1). The auction will begin at 2:00 pm GMT. A wooden Achilles (Brad Pitt) sword blade master from the production of Wolfgang Petersen's mythical epic Troy. This blade was produced as a master pattern for the moulding process.

Carved from wood, the sword blade forms a delicate curved-leaf shape and is decorated with several inlays curling down from its base. A raised ridge runs along the centre of the blade to just above the tip. The lot is finished in faux-bronze paint and shades of green paint have been applied to replicate a verdigris patina. The sword blade displays paint wear and some minor scratching from use on production. Dimensions: 58 cm x 9 cm x 2 cm (22 3/4" x 3 1/2" x 3/4")
