Pink Storyboards and Plan

A folder of pink storyboards and a plan from the production of Wolfgang Petersen's 2004 mythical epic Troy. Coloured pages are used in film production to keep track of changes. The storyboards and plan depict the Battle of the Barricades, when the Trojan army rolled large hay fireballs towards the Greek army’s beach encampment.

Date-stamped 14.05.03, the stapled storyboards are printed on hole-punched pink paper and contained in a white lever arch folder. A plastic sleeve at the rear of the folder displays the plan. There are two identical sets of storyboards, each comprising thirty-eight pages. An accompanying memo from Simon Crane, the film’s second unit director, states that the storyboards are subject to change.

Some storyboards exhibit minor creasing and staining, but overall, the lot is in very good condition.
