A hand-drawn Mariano Diaz sketch of Odysseus’ (Sean Bean) helmet design from the production of Wolfgang Petersen's 2004 mythical epic Troy. The ancient kingdoms of Troy and Sparta did battle to control the Aegean Sea. Odysseus, King of Ithaca, persuaded Achilles (Brad Pitt) to join the fight against Troy.

The costume was designed by Academy Award®-nominated costume designer Bob Ringwood and rendered by Diaz in graphite on paper. Labelled "67", it bears the annotation “Sean Bean Odysses (sic) Helmet” and shows a view of Odysseus’ head in profile with a side view of the helmet. The helmet is depicted in a Chalcidian style with cheek pieces, a nose-guard and a neck guard. At the top of the helmet is a large feathered plume, befitting its wearer’s high status.

The artwork is in excellent condition.
