A Mariano Diaz hand-draw Agamemnon (Brian Cox) court robe costume design from the production of Wolfgang Petersen's 2004 historical war epic Troy.

The costumes in Troy were designed by Academy Award and Oscar-nominated costume designer Bob Ringwood and rendered by concept artist Mariano Diaz in graphite. Labelled ‘34’, this costume design concept has been hand-drawn on thin layout paper and depicts Agamemnon dressed in a wide-sleeved woven robe with a tasselled waist wrap, draped shawl and buttons running down the top. Diaz’s autograph is hand-signed in pencil at the bottom of the illustration. This costume concept differs from the final design seen on screen.

The artwork exhibits minor creasing, smudges and brown stains from production use. The edges have been cut unevenly, and a vertical fold line is present along the left edge. Otherwise, it remains in very good overall condition.
