A hero Myrmidon sword from Wolfgang Petersen's mythical epic Troy. Under the command of Achilles (Brad Pitt), Myrmidon soldiers wielded their swords during the beach landing sequence, when they slaughtered the Trojan soldiers to establish the Greek beachhead.

The heavyweight weapon comprises a cast-bronze blade and a dense rubber grip, which is painted dark brown to replicate wood. Three small rivets are present on the handle, and two curved metal pieces form the guard. Green paint is applied at the base of the blade and on the grip, to replicate a verdigris patina. The sword exhibits paint wear, scuffing and intentional distressing on the blade, and there is a crack on one side of the handle. Dimensions: 68.5 cm x 16 cm x 3.5 cm (27" x 6¼" x 1¼")
