Troy

Boagrius' (Nathan Jones) Sword

Stock #69042

A sword used in the Wolfgang Petersen epic Troy. After falling for the beautiful Helen (Diane Kruger), Trojan prince Paris (Orlando Bloom) smuggles her aboard the ship of his brother, Hector (Eric Bana) to take her to Troy. Seeking revenge, the Greek armies led by Agamemnon (Brian Cox) and the legendary warrior Achilles (Brad Pitt) set sail for Troy, where one of history’s greatest wars will be waged.

This sword was used by the warrior Boagrius (Nathan Jones), called upon by the Thessalian King Triopas (Julian Glover) to battle on in one-on-one combat with Achilles. The sword is made of rubber with a metal armature within for strength and rigidity. Faux-silver stripes are applied to the grip, which is made to appear as though it is made of blackened wood. The blade is finished to replicate the appearance of worked bronze.

The sword displays some wear from use and age including cracks along the edge of the blade, revealing the armature within. However, in spite of this wear, the sword remains in good condition.
