Achilles (Brad Pitt) Sword

Stock #72023

A sword used in Wolfgang Petersen’s adaptation of Homer’s great epic Troy. After falling for the beautiful Helen (Diane Kruger), Trojan prince Paris (Orlando Bloom) smuggles her aboard the ship of his brother, Hector (Eric Bana) to take her to Troy. Seeking revenge, the Greek armies led by Agamemnon (Brian Cox) and the legendary warrior Achilles (Brad Pitt) set sail for Troy, where one of history’s greatest wars will be waged.

This sword was used by Achilles throughout the film as he led his Myrmidons in battle against the armies of Troy, most notably in his deadly duel with Prince Hector. Made of hard rubber with metal armatures for strength and rigidity, the uniquely shaped blade of the sword has thin runnels leading to the guard and an ornate grip. The entire sword has been made to appear as though it was made of worked bronze, with a dark paint finish to match.

Well used on the production, the sword has some minor wear to the blade and a slight bend in the tip, however it remains in an overall very good production-used condition.
