A white and black belt made for the production of Steven Lisberger's 1982 cyber fantasy adventure, Tron. Using groundbreaking visuals, a majority of this film takes place in a computer world. Most of the scenes involve human actors, and these scenes, while assisted by computers, were often hand-animated using layers upon layers of cells. The actors wore costumes with black detailing on white. The footage was printed on large cells for animators to work with. The black detailing was photographically removed and then lit from behind with neon-colored lights. Each frame was re-photographed and set in motion. As a result of this method, each character seems to glow with electronic energy.

Made from canvas, this belt displays the black detailing which enabled animators to give Tron its futuristic look. The black detailing gives the built an appearance of being made from circuitry. Two metal clasps fastened the belt around the wearer.

Showing some signs of wear from use and storage, including some dirtying of the white canvas, this belt is in overall good condition.
