Melina's (Jessica Biel) Beretta 90Two Display from the 2012 Len Wiseman sci-fi remake, Total Recall. In the film, factory worker Douglas Quaid (Colin Farrell) finds himself on the run from the government after his visit to the memory-implanting Rekall facility goes horribly wrong.
This style of gun can be seen wielded by Melina throughout the film as her primary firearm. Made from rubber, this stunt hand gun was cast from an actual Beretta 90Two and includes original manufacturer markings. This piece features a glossy finish on the right side, while the left side shows wear from production use as the gloss has started to peel off (see photos). Stunt weapons such as this piece are commonly used for distance shots where a hero piece is not needed; they are lighter and therefore easier for the actors to handle. They are also used for stunt sequences where the actor could possibly fall on the prop and injure themselves if they were holding the hero version.
This item comes on a custom made display stand featuring the film's logo on the front, which illuminates when a button at the back of the stand is pressed. The gun measures approximately 9" x 1.5" x 5.5" (23cm x 4cm x 14cm) and remains in excellent production used condition.
The violent crime reduction bill means that this particular prop can only be sold to customers who reside outside the UK. Generally speaking, it is illegal for a resident of the UK to buy this item.
