On its initial release, John Carpenter's "The Thing" barely made its money back. However, it soon became a cult success when released on home video. Special effects designer Rob Bottin (who was only 22 at the time of filming) produced ground-breaking effects that set the benchmark for all subsequent horror movies. This ominous design was only used in UK marketing, with the US opting for Drew Struzan's more dramatic artwork.

Condition: Excellent

Unrestored and folded (as issued). No foldline and very minor handling wear. Displays to excellent effect.
