Warden Samuel Norton's (Bob Gunton) screen-matched ledger from Frank Darabont's The Shawshank Redemption. Warden Norton provided Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) with a ledger that allowed him to keep track of the finances the prison was earning through Warden Norton's "Inside Out" program where the inmates provided public service tasks as a form of rehabilitation and corrections. Andy later took the ledger with him during his grand escape where he sent in the ledger to the local newspaper to expose Warden Norton's money laundering in retaliation for killing fellow inmate Thomas "Tommy" Williams (Gil Bellows). The scuffings along the side and the imperfect annotations in the September 1, 1966 entry screen-match this ledger to the scene where Dufresne finished his work and switched the ledgers before his grand escape.

The Shawshank Redemption earned a total of seven Academy Award® nominations, including Best Picture, and was selected by the United States Library of Congress in 2015 to be preserved in the National Film Registry for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."

This black leatherette hardcover book, embossed "LEDGER" in gold-color print, features lined pages with handwritten annotations in graphite and ink dating from April 1947 to September 1, 1966 with a blue paper and white cloth prayer card bookmark.
