A handwritten poster detailing the picture cars employed during the production of Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather. Charles Hannah Enterprises provided picture cars to the production, each of which Hannah tracked by scene. The film received significant acclaim for its depiction of various team periods through its detailed and historically accurate mise-en-scene, including era-specific vehicles.
Created to hang in the warehouse where Charles Hannah Enterprises stored its picture cars during production, this poster, "Slide Show" features 35 scenes, such as "F.B.I. Scene at Wedding," "1941 Ford on Bridge when stunt car almost hits it," listed and described by hand in black marker. It is autographed "Thank You, Charles G. Hannah" at the bottom. It exhibits yellowing from age, marks from being stapled to a corkboard, a tear at row 28, and fold lines. Dimensions: 58" x 29.75 (147.5 cm x 75.75 cm)
