A Removable Face Bust from John Luessenhop’s 2013 horror film, Texas Chainsaw 3D. The film finds the classic cannibal Leatherface hunting a group of young college kids that stumble upon his family home. This face was likely made for use during a scene where the killer carves a fresh face off a recently captured deputy. The bust is made of foam with a silicone skin applied on top, likely taken from a life cast. The silicone face “mask” has been made to fit the bust. The mask can be removed to show the sculpted musculature underneath that has been created and finished to look as real as possible. The face also features acrylic teeth and eyes. A metal pole sticks out from underneath the bust as a means of properly securing the piece on set. The bust shows light paint wear but remains in good condition.
Please note that the stand is not included with the piece.
