A set of 12 hand-drawn storyboards from Richard Lester's superhero sequel Superman III. The storyboards illustrate shots from the opening credits sequence, as a series of events escalated into chaos, causing Superman (Christopher Reeve) to save the day. Some of the shots were ultimately revised for the final cut of the film.

Each storyboard is rendered in pencil, with three drawn on tracing paper and then loosely taped to white A4 paper, and the rest drawn on paper. The storyboards display signs of wear, including discoloured tape on three storyboards and a cup ring-mark on another. Dimensions (each): 21 cm x 29.5 cm (8¼" x 11½")
