A Derek Meddings-made model miniature car from Richard Lester's superhero sequel Superman III. This miniature was made by the legendary special effects designer Meddings and his team for a section of the scene in which Evil Superman (Christopher Reeve) and Clark Kent (also Reeve) fought in a scrapyard. The shots involving the miniature were ultimately cut, but the full-scale car can be seen on the car crusher conveyor belt. The car is made of fibreglass and metal, with acrylic windows and it has been intentionally distressed. The car is accompanied by nine behind-the-scenes photos showing the sequence being filmed. Dimensions: 118 cm x 45 cm x 30 cm (46 1/2" x 17 3/4" x 11 3/4")
