A script from the Jim Henson-produced television series The Storyteller.
In the episode “A Story Short”, the fourth aired episode of the first season, the Storyteller (John Hurt) recalls a time where he stumbled across a castle and talked his way into telling the King (Richard Vernon) a story every night for a year. However, on the last day his mind is empty and he fails to deliver a story.
Bound with a metal script clip, the script features a pink cover page dated “29th June 1987” and is credited to Anthony Minghella. This document is marked as a final script and features the text ‘Henson Associates, Inc. 1987’ printed towards the bottom of the page. Comprised of 29 unannotated pages, the script is printed on single-sided A4 paper.
The cover and back page of the script features some stains and minor fold lines in the corner of the pages. The metal script clip also shows signs of corrosion. Considering the age and use on production it remains in good condition.
Materials: Paper, Ferrous Metals.
