A miniature battle cruiser used in the 1997 sci-fi action film Starship Troopers. Recruited into the Earth Federation’s Mobile Infantry, high schooler Johnny Rico (Casper Van Dien) goes through the trials of service within the Federation military as war with the alien Arachnids takes him from Earth to the far corners of the galaxy.
This style of ship is seen throughout the movie, and this awesome particular little piece was used partway through the movie after the sneaky attack by the Bugs on Buenos Aires and war is declared; an entire fleet is seen speeding through space, with this particular model used as one of the more 'distant' ships, created on a smaller scale to appear as though further from the camera.

The piece is made from cast resin and has painted grey and is complete with tiny little details such as various dropship bays, gangways, radio towers, intricately modelled engines and walkways. The model measures a mere 15cm (6”) long.

In a very good production-used condition, the model has some very minor marks from production use and storage and has had some small repairs to a gangway cage on the top of the model and to the engines at the rear. The model also comes presented in a custom built display. The opening frame incorporates a laser-cut mount board featuring the movie title and stills, and is enhanced with the addition of LED strips inside to ensure that every detail of the miniature can be seen. The display measures 46cm x 52cm (18” x 20.5”).
