A light-up Jaffa serpent guard helmet from the sci-fi series Stargate SG-1. Genetically-engineered Jaffa warriors wore their signature serpent helmets throughout the series.

This ornately detailed headpiece is constructed from padded and etched dense rubber molded around a plastic helmet, inset with two resin faux ruby eyes, and taped with wood backing and a battery pack. The two 9V batteries power internal lights which illuminate the eyes when activated. The helmet is hand-marked "3" and "Scott" in multiple places on the interior and painted silver-color with gold-color detailing. It exhibits splitting at the neck and flaking paint throughout.
